Is Dallas a nice place to live? I am trying to decide between Dallas and Indianapolis.?

I live in Fort Worth, about 30 miles from Dallas. I try to avoid going into Dallas if I can, because traffic is MISERABLE, especially in rush hour. But if you can put up with that, and the high temps and humidity of summer (frequently 100+), then Dallas is a fairly nice place, especially if you are moving into a new home.
