Whats wrong with my Fig tree Brown Turkey ?

My fig tree brown turkey is in a pot outside and its leaves are gone yellow and dropped off . I scd a bit of wood off and it did turn out to be green. It shoots are a litle brown at the top . Here in Yorkshire it rains every other day and it rains very heavily . We water it every 5 days but not when there is heavy rain . What should i do? Is the fig tree alive ? Shall i move it into the garage ( it has a window in it for light )
