join a football club. perhaps try find out what footy club some of the afl players near you used to go. i live in WA and i used to know heaps of the eagles. ben cousins (i know he's a druggie but he's a great player) used to live next door to me, and i used to work at a small grocery shop down the road he always used to come there. my year 5 teacher's boyfriend, now husband is darren gl so i met heaps of afl players through her. and most of them used to just live around me.
