Job was a man in the bible who was tested by Satan. Satan asked God permission to test Job, since Job had great faith, and God allowed him to. Satan killed all Jobs animals, destroyed his farm, killed all his children, and eventually gave Job boils. Job lasted through most of this with shining colors, using quite a bit of patience.
