“The Enlightenment is the culmination of the Renaissance” Agree? Disagree? Or equivocate? Discuss?

please help me it would be greatly appreciated. I understand that these two are very different time periods, but they do have many things in common, I'm just not exactly sure if the enlightenment was actually the "culmination" of the renaissance
