Do you follow the bible like I do?

That things in the bible happened but were in a diffrent meaning and style of the time, with hidden mesages e.g. Arbaham went to sacrifice his son Isaac, but G-d stopped him, to me the message behind that is Worship G-d but do not become a fanatic a example of diffrent styles of the time is due to lack of communicate and exploration of the world, just flooding Isreal to Noah would seem like the entire world is flooded. Do you follow it like me?
