A compound forms an orange precipitate when it reacts with 2,4-DNP?

a compound gave an orange precipitate when reacted with 2,4-DNP and showed a strong absorbance at 1700 cm-1. The Tollens' test did not show a positive result. what functional group is consistent with these results and why?
